Easy installation process

Coldbuster carpet floor heating is installed on top of the carpet underlay, directly beneath the carpet throughout any home or commercial project.
 

            

Installing Coldbuster carpet heating is easy and no special tools are required. Simply fix the carpet heating panel to the carpet underlay, connect the programmable thermostat and switch the power on.

Coldbuster carpet heating is classified as an appliance and can be installed by any competent person. The carpet heating panel must be connected to a RCD (safety switch) protected circuit by an electrician. All wiring must conform to AS/NZS 3000:2000 and local wiring regulations.

Complete control and efficient energy use

Complete control and efficient energy use is ensured with the standard programmable thermostat supplied with each under floor heating kit.

 

Estimated floor heating running costs for a room* using the P775/16 carpet heating kit  is 4.7c per running hour**.

* The 775W carpet heating kit will suit a room size of 10m² up to 12m² (based on heating guideline of 70-80Watt/m² to lift temperature from 0 to 20 degree in an average built room with insulation. Add 20% for temperature lifts from -5 to 20 degrees.)
** Based on 15c per kW/h & a duty cycle of 40%
