Floor heating installations under carpet have traditionally involved complicated procedures. Cables supplied on a roll (typically suited for concrete or tile floor finishes) require careful planning to ensure there are no hot spots, and covering the cables with screed raises the floor levels.
The extensive range of Coldbuster carpet heating shapes and sizes allows flexibility with room sizes and furniture layouts avoiding heating under furniture with solid bases.

Complete comfort control
Complete comfort control is easily achieved with a programmable thermostat.
Automated operation enhances the energy efficiency of the Coldbuster carpet heating system. Programs can be set to regulate comfort levels via floor or room air temperature, up to 6 cycles per day, accommodating different weekday and weekend routines.
Unobtrusive and safe
Coldbuster carpet heating is installed on top of the underlay, directly beneath the carpet. The 1mm thin carpet heating panels are guaranteed safe. The heating element is waterproof, fully earthed and connected to a RCD circuit at the time of installation - ensuring you are fully protected against fire and shock hazards.
Accidental spills or steam cleaning presents no problem.
Coldbuster carpet heating systems comply with IEC specifications and carry the CE mark. Our factory is accredited by IQNet and DQS and all products are manufactured under ISO9001:2000 compliance.

The 1mm thin Coldbuster carpet heating panel is installed on the underlay directly beneath the carpet - perfect for retrofit and/or renovations as there are no screeds raising floor levels.
Easy installation
Installing Coldbuster carpet heating is easy and no special tools are required. Simply fix the carpet heating panel to the carpet underlay, connect the programmable thermostat and switch the power on.
A detailed installation guideline manual is supplied with each Coldbuster carpet heating kit covering floor preparation, electrical requirements, carpet installation and thermostat connection. Additional technical and
installation support is also available via the website or telephonically.
Coldbuster tile heating is classified as an appliance and can be installed by any competent person. The heater must be connected to a RCD (safety switch) protected circuit by an electrician. All wiring must conform to AS/NZS 3000:2000 and local wiring regulations.
